Alderley Edge Christmas Tree Festival

Alderley Edge Methodist Church will once again be hosting a Christmas Tree Festival, commencing at 12noon on Friday with a Lunchtime Concert featuring Helen Wilson (flute) and Elfair Dyer (harp).

Tickets are £5, including entrance to the trees. Doors open 11.30am, light lunches available after the Concert and the Festival continues until 4.00pm.

On Saturday the Festival will be open from 10.00am to 4.00pm, with stalls and refreshments available throughout the day. Entrance £3. Chelford Handbell Ringers will perform during the afternoon, as will the Church Music Group, Inspire.

There will be a Brass Band Concert by Marsden Silver Prize Band, conductor Glyn Williams (well known and acclaimed Euphonium Player with Foden's Band). Tickets £12.50p. available from the Church Office (01625 586713) or [email protected]. Concert starts at 7.30pm.

On Sunday the Festival will be open from 1.30pm to 3.00pm for normal viewing. Entrance £3. Refreshments available.

The Festival concludes at 3pm with Carols Round the Trees, when they look forward to having a real community time of singing well known carols interspersed with other items to help us on the road to Christmas. A bucket collection will be taken, 50% of which will be donated to The Christie Hospital.

Proceeds from the weekend will be in aid of their Spire Fund.
