5   Fish Night at Heddy's

We so miss 'Fish Night' at Stay in Alderley (because we could walk there, stagger home) but for it 'to be back' in Wilmslow is fantastic. The dishes are superb, accompanied by great wines, and the atmosphere, as ever, so vibrant. Belated Happy Birthday Heddy and hope the Christmas parties go well.

4   Great food!

I went on a Thursday evening and I wasn't disappointed. The service was excellent, but even more importantly so was the food. It isn't a particularly cheap restaurant but I certainly felt that I got value for money because of the taste quality of the food. The humus in particular was excellent, and we even got some free canapes from the chef!

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the rather expensive price of drinks which aren't advertised in the menu. All in all however I will certainly come back.

4   One more night

Always had a good meal here until recently. The choice of main course really wasn't what I expected and probably would have sent it back if had been asked. Can't beat the mixed grill though.

5   Great food at a good price

We have been going to Heddy's on a regular basis since it opened and have always enjoyed a great meal. The menu is varied with lots of choice for carnivores and vegetarians, simply presented without being fussy and always very tasty. I have recently heard some people say that it is expensive yet the prices are very comparable with many other local restaurants and I feel very good value for money all round. Heddy is an excellent host and is can always advise anyone with food allergies how to get the best from the menu. New Years Eve Banquets are a special occasion with a fantastic meal and atmosphere at a very good price and are just a few of the special occasions that Heddy can provide for. As you can probably tell - we love it!
