4   That's better!

I've been back to GBK a couple of times since I posted a negative review (the first time with some trepidation as it was my son's birthday and his choice of venue). However, I happily change my review as the staff seem to have changed again and were both pleasant and efficient - though I have to say going back to the old system of ordering and paying at the desk rather than full waitress service may save them money but it isn't really a plus point for customers. Other than that point though I'm pleased that they seem to have moved on from the "server from hell" scenario. Still great special offers as well :)

1   New management???

I have eaten at GBK regularly since it opened - both in the restaurant and using their takeaway service. Always found the food to be excellent and after a shaky start the service excellent as well. I often make use of their brilliant special offers which make the prices reasonable. Having gone in this week with my special price voucher in my sticky mit, I was sad to find they had reverted to no table service but could live with that. However when I went up to place our order I was told I needed to have one voucher per person not one between the two of us. Upon reading the tiny small print this was indeed the case but it was not something that had ever been an issue before. So they wanted us to pay full price for one meal and special offer price for the other if I didn't go home and print off another copy! The previous staff were far more understanding, friendly and flexible. I regret to say I didn't get my burger but went to Pizza Express and enjoyed much more amenable service. Sad...

4   Great place to eat

Fab place for the kids.

However the last time I went I found my burger to be very salty.

Kids burgers are very tasty and I have ordered one for me on occasions as the adult ones are huge.

Great burgers for all the family. Take the vouchers with you though or it could be an expensive quick bite.
