All the fun of the AESG fete

Alderley Edge School for Girls hosted their first summer fete on Saturday, 25th June, and it proved a great success with hundred flocking to the many stalls.

Entertainment included tombolas, a raffle, hook a duck, a climbing wall, face painting and crazy golf. Whilst refreshments were available from an impressive looking cake stall, the Revolution bar and a very popular chocolate fountain.

Headmaster Mr Groves said "The event far exceeded our expectations and the afternoon was alive with colour especially during the summer bonnet and Lady Gaga hat competition where the girls displayed their artistic talents and proudly paraded their headdresses.

"It was great to see the many happy faces head off home with their cakes and prizes. We look forward to another great event next year, well done to the Alderley Edge School for Girls PFA for all their hard work and effort."
