The A537 Chelford Road will be closed for one day, between Congleton Road and Old Hall, to enable Cheshire East Council Highways to carry out surface dressing works.
It is anticipated that the work will be carried out on Monday 19th May, between 9.30am and 3.30pm, although it is weather dependant.
The alternative diversion route will be via Chester Road, Cumberland Street, A538 Churchill Way, A536 Park Lane, Congleton Road, Macclesfield Road and A34 Manchester Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.
