A former nightclub located in the North Cheshire Green Belt at Harden Park is up for sale.
The old Yesterdays nightclub has just come on the market "inviting substantial offers".
The building, which sits on a 4-acre site, has been empty for years. It was last used as a nightclub, restaurant and bar, though it had previously been a hotel.
In 2011 Northern Ireland-based developer Benmore Group submitted a planning application to build a luxury spa hotel.
Plans for the site included refurbishing and altering the former Yesterday's night club to create a 68 bedroom hotel with a ground floor bistro and spa.
Benmore Group later withdrew their plans, on the same day the Northern Planning Committee were scheduled to discuss the application, which was recommended for refusal.
The building has fallen into a state of disrepair and been subject to a number of incidents of vandalism and theft over the years.
The grounds around the building have also fallen in to a sorry state of decline, although a big area of the plot has been cleared in recent weeks.
In 1983 planning permission was refused for change of use from a hotel to accommodation for elderly people and in 1988 permission was refused for 6 dwellings in the grounds of Yesterdays - on both occasions the plans were refused due to a conflict with greenbelt policy.
The Yesterdays building is for sale, at no fixed price, via Gascoigne Halman.
Just out of interest, does anyone remember when Yesterdays closed?
