Heyes Lane to close for cabling works

Heyes Lane will be closed next week from its junction with with The Circuit and Hough Lane.

The temporary road closure is to enable Electricity North West to carry out cabling improvement works.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

It is anticipated that the works will take place on Monday 13th until Thursday 16th January.

The alternative route during the closure will be via Hough Lane and Moss Road.

Whoever thought of this diversion clearly wasn't a local resident and needs their head examining. This road is treacherous at the best of times. I was diverted yesterday and all I can say is avoid this road around 5:30 when employees of The Emerson Group leave - Carnage!!
