A planning application has been submitted to demolish the former nuns home and replace it with 4 new dwellings.

The proposal is to redevelop the site off Ryleys Lane, which is approximately 0.27 hectares, and replace the existing detached property with four houses.

These will include two detached 4 storey, five bedroomed houses and a pair of three storey semi-detached houses with five bedrooms.

The planning application can be viewed on Cheshire East Council's website by searching for planning reference 13/4068M.

The last date for submitting comments is 30th October and a decision is expected by 22nd November.

A second application, reference 13/4077M, has been submitted for the erection of site hoarding to make the site secure and to prevent travellers from entering.

It's amazing you can get all these homes with all these bedrooms in that plot. A four story home....all so OTT.
