Cheshire Police have charged a 43-year-old woman with drink driving following a two vehicle collision in Hough Lane.
Police were called to the collision on Friday, 27th September, at 3.32pm and subsequently arrested the driver of one of the cars on suspicion of driving after consuming alcohol above the legal limit.
A woman and her child who were in the other car were taken to hospital as a precaution, but did not appear to have any injuries and were released the same day.
Sarah Worthington from Alderley Edge was later charged with the offence and will appear at Macclesfield Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 16th October.
