PCSO Jim Newns attended Alderley Edge Methodist Church this week to give crime prevention advice to the elderly people whilst they enjoyed a Tuesday lunch.
PCSO Newns explained "The volunteers who provide the lunch asked me to visit them and deliver some crime prevention advice to the elderly.
"Elderly citizens are often targeted by criminals and it is important that they understand how best to safe guard against becoming a victim of crime".
Information was provided about home security, bogus callers and pick pockets.
