Police appeal after car stolen from Heyes Lane

A car was stolen from outside a house in Alderley Edge last week.

Three men wearing balaclavas approached a property on Heyes Lane on Thursday, 29th August. They smashed a window in order to steal a set of car keys to the occupants Mini Cooper. When the occupant challenged the males he was threatened .

The vehicle was later found in the car park of Festival Hall having been abandoned.

Sgt Andy Miller explained "The offenders are thought to have parked in this location so we are appealing for anyone who has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Heyes Lane, or near the Festival Hall in Alderley Edge in the late evening of 29th August to contact the Police on 101 quoting Incident number 1081 of 29/08/13."
