Trafford Road will be closed next week and Stevens Street will be closed the following week to to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out patching works.
The works are programmed to take place on Trafford Road, between Chapel Road and Heyes Lane, from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August. Trafford Road will be closed to through traffic with a signed diversion route via Heyes Lane, London Road and Chapel Road.
During this time, either Clifton Street or Stevens Street will also be closed to through traffic with two way traffic in operation for access and residents at various times.
Stevens Street will then be closed to through traffic the following week, commencing 27th August, with a fully signed diversion in place throughout the works.
Access to all properties will be maintained throughout both periods but may be subject to delay depending on the activities underway at the time.
