A section of Trafford Road will be closed next week to enable Enterprise, on behalf of United Utilities, to carry out urgent repairs to a collapsed sewer.
The collapsed sewer is located outside of property number 35 and Trafford Road will be closed from its junction with Stevens Street to its junction with Chapel Road.
It is anticipated that the works will be carried out from Monday 11th until Friday 15th March.
The alternative route during the closure will be via; Moss Lane, Mottram Road and Trafford Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will also be maintained.
