Alderley Edge Community Primary School are celebrating after winning the Wilmslow Schools Tag Rugby Tournament, held at Wilmslow High School.
The tag rugby team had several tough matches but played brilliantly winning all their matches and finally winning the tournament outright.
Headteacher (and Coach) Mr Perry said: "The standard of rugby by all schools was excellent throughout the afternoon. Our team played brilliantly from the first match to the last. I was really pleased with their team play with 8 out of the 10 children scoring tries during the afternoon."
The team have now qualified for the Macclesfield School Sport Partnership Finals which will take place in February.
