Police attended an address on Redesmere Drive in Alderley Edge this morning where they discovered a cannabis factory.
A warrant was executed at 6.50am and approximately 100 plants were found at what is believed to be a rented property.
A 40-year-old local man has been arrested for the cultivation of cannabis and money laundering.
Scenes of crime officers are currently at the house dismantling the set up and the investigation is still ongoing.
