Brookview Nursing & Residential Centre hosted their summer garden party on Saturday, 11th August.
The event was enjoyed by residents and their relatives who were entertained by the Buxton Mini Wind Band.
Joanne Angell-Sedgwick, Senior Activity Coordinator, said "We 'booked' good weather on Saturday for the garden party and it proved to be a lovely sunny afternoon.
"Everyone said that this year's summer event, attended by about 90 people, was our best one to date, potentially making it a hard act to follow next year!"
The garden party was well supported by members of the local community and resident Mr Edward Marles celebrated his 92nd birthday at the event accompanied by his wife Mrs Marles. Everyone joined in the rendition of Happy Birthday with the band.
