Passengers planning to travel by train this Easter are urged to check their journey details before departing, as Network Rail is carrying out engineering work between Sandbach and Alderley Edge on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April.
Northern Rail will provide bus replacement services between Wilmslow and Crewe throughout both days to provide onward travel for passengers from Manchester Piccadilly or Crewe.
On the Saturday, trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke-on-Trent will be retimed, with trains towards Stoke running up to 10 minutes earlier than usual.
Customers are advised to consult posters displayed at the station or visit the National Rail Enquiries website for specific times and services.
