Twenty five village businesses have come together for the first Alderley Edge Village Easter Egg Hunt to support the NSPCC.
Local families are invited to hunt for the painted hens eggs which will be displayed in windows of participating businesses between Saturday March 24th, and Saturday April 7th.
Those taking part then need to collect the letters which will be displayed on eggs inside the businesses, see attached entry form, and arrange the 25 letters to spell the winning phrase.
Judy O'Brien said "Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe and staff have organised the event to provide a fun, traditional activity for local children that they can enjoy with their friends and family.
"I am delighted to have had such a positive and enthusiastic response from local traders wanting to participate in the event which will give local residents the chance to browse in shops that they may not have ever thought of going into before"
Completed entry forms should be returned to Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe before 4pm on Saturday 7th April. A draw of the correct entries will take place by a local footballer at 5pm that day to find the winners of some great prizes including vouchers, cash prizes, a £25 iTunes voucher and Easter Eggs which have been generously donated by local businesses.
Entrants must be under 16 years of age on 7/04/12. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. NSPCC collection boxes will be at Mr Simms and at The Cooperative.
