Local doctors will be holding a public consultation this month to share their plans for building a new medical centre at the festival hall.

Emersons, the Primary Care Trust (PCT) and doctors will all be there displaying material and presenting why they need a new medical centre.

Cllr Mike Williamson confirmed "Residents living in the immediate area of the Festival Hall are going to be invited but the meeting will be open to all.

"It's not a Parish Council project but some of us will be there to answer any questions residents may have about the project."

The pre-planning consultation will take place at the Festival Hall from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday 26th January.
