Alderley Scout District has been celebrating the achievement of 38 young people who have received their Chief Scout's Gold award.
Steve Fox, Emiley Greenwood, Robert Hall, Lydia Roberts, Greg Roberts and Joe Trueman from Alderley Edge Troop were amongst those to receive the top award at a presentation ceremony on Sunday, 5th November.
The ceremony at Warrington's Parr Hall was attended by more than 250 Scouts from across the county and watched by their proud families.
The awards were handed out by David Briggs, Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, who expressed his admiration for the hard work that had gone into achieving these awards which are the highest available to the Scout section.
District Commissioner Stephen Buckley said "Completing the Chief Scout's Gold Award takes an incredible amount of dedication and commitment, so it's quite an achievement for all these young people."
