A house on Woodbrook Road in Alderley Edge was broken into between the hours of 9.30pm and 10pm on Saturday, 15th October.
The offenders gained entry to the detached home via an insecure front door. They then forced their way through a second door, by unknown means, and once inside made a tidy search of the ground and first floor.
Car keys were taken from a drawer and the thieves made their escape in the homeowners Audi A5 convertible in an unknown direction.
The occupants were not at home at the time of the incident and nothing else was taken.
