Burglars targeted two houses in Alderley Edge over the weekend.

Between the hours of 7.10pm and 11.05pm on Saturday, 30th July, offender(s) approached the rear a detached house on Eaton Drive. They forced open the rear patio door to gain entry to the property from which they stole a number of items.

During the same weekend, between midnight on Saturday and 9.50pm on Sunday offender(s) approached the rear of a detached house on Windermere Drive. They gained access via an insecure rear ground floor window, carried out an untidy search of the upstairs rooms then left without stealing anything. The two burglaries are believed to be connected.

Also on Friday afternoon, July 29th, between the hours of 4pm and 5pm, offender(s) approached a secure unattended vehicle which was parked on Macclesfield Road. They damaged the lock on the rear door to gain entry and stole petrol and gardening tools from within.

Anyone with information about these incidents should contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or pass information anonymously using the Crimestoppers number - 0800 555 111.
