Ryleys pupil has the Chets factor

Jade Hughes 19.05

A talented Year 5 pupil from The Ryleys School has been awarded a place at Manchester’s prestigious Chetham School of Music.

Following a tough 2-stage audition, Jade Hughes will be joining the famous music school in September, with primary studies in the oboe and secondary studies in piano.

The Ryleys prides itself on the strength of its music department with pupils regularly participating in concerts and competitions and has an excellent reputation for the quality of its musicians and singers.

Headmaster Pat Barrett said “Jade is an exceptionally talented young musician and we will be very sad to see her leave. However, we are sure that she will go on to achieve great things at the Chetham School of Music and we wish her every success. One to watch for the future.”
