Purple fever takes over David Lewis

To celebrate National Epilepsy Week, staff, young people and adults turned David Lewis purple.

Purple is the official colour of epilepsy and was to be seen everywhere at David Lewis on Thursday, May 19th.

Young people in school held a purple disco, college students made and sold purple cakes whilst the adults enjoyed a purple themed quiz and a purple tea party.

Fundraising Manager, Helen Archibald said "It was also a great excuse for lots of purple outfits – with wigs, tutus and even shoes all featuring!

"Our 'Turn it Purple' day was a fantastic opportunity for everyone connected with David Lewis to get together and celebrate our achievements."

Based just outside Alderley Edge, David Lewis is a registered charity with over 100 years' experience in providing education, therapy, support and life skill development to individuals with epilepsy and complex learning disabilities.
