Local band Pegasus Bridge recently performed an acoustic set in Alderley Edge as part of the Burberry Acoustic Series, which celebrates the relationship between music and fashion.

Last month, the quartet from Macclesfield performed an acoustic version of their single 'Yoko' in the woods at The Edge, which Matt Johnson from their management described as a "beautiful setting, close to where they grew up".

Burberry approached the band to record a video for their Acoustic Series, which showcases some of the UK's most talented, emerging bands and brings them to the attention of the luxury brand's global audience.

Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey described it as an "amazing project" which is "basically live acoustic sessions with bands that we love, bands that we admire, bands that we believe in, young British new bands."

In November 2009, Huw Stephens premiered their 'Yoko' single on Radio 1 and the band went on to enjoy airplay from the likes of Zane Lowe and Vernon Kaye, as well as playing Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor in May 2010.

On Sunday Pegasus Bridge supported Feeder at the Manchester Academy and they are currently on a UK tour. Their single 'Ribena' and album 'While We're Young' are both out now.
