Antique fairs return to festival hall

A series of antique fairs will be held at the Festival Hall this year, organised by the team behind the Chelford and Woodfood antique events.

The Antique Fairs will have up to 34 dealers selling a range of furniture, art, silver, porcelain, jewellery and collectables.

These will be complimented by a series of Vintage Fashion, Accessories and Textile Fairs which again will house up to 34 dealers selling a quality range of vintage clothing and accessories, such as hats, handbags, compacts, gloves and scarves.

David Lloyd, who runs the events with Lynne and Grahame Blood, said "The original antique fairs in Alderley Edge finished about seven years ago when the organiser retired. We feel that the Alderley Edge Antiques Fairs that were held at the Festival Hall in the past could be resurrected.

"Alderley Edge and North East Cheshire is a lovely area with a strong discerning customer base. We feel sure the local clients will appreciate a good quality fair and show interest in the new vintage fashion event."

The team have been running the successful Antique Fair at Chelford Village Hall for ten years and at the Woodford Centre for six years, both of which have a loyal following.

The first Antique Fair will be held at the Festival Hall this Sunday, February 6th from 9.30 until 4pm. Details of all the fairs are included in our events calendar.

Traditional afternoon teas will be served at all the fairs.
