Elite Fizzique have launched Zumba® classes in Alderley Edge. The dance craze, which has taken the US by storm, fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program which by all accounts is an exhilarating experience.

Niki added "Having spent over 15 years working in the fitness industry for Cheshire East Council, at the local leisure centres and private clubs, in June 2010 I got myself booked on a Zumba® course to further my career as a fitness instructor. I went feeling very pessimistic about what to expect and I was overwhelmed with how just doing a masterclass made me feel.
"I had read articles about depression and how Zumba® had helped people as it is a workout with a difference. I was going through a very hard time as our little dog, Chloe, was very old and we were having to make a very hard decision to let her go the very next day after attending the course. Even though I was extremely distraught, the Zumba® for the few hours I spent there distracted me somehow out of this distressing time for me."
