Ryleys pupils on the road

Bypass Office 05.10

A group of Year 8 pupils from The Ryleys School were among the first ‘civilians’ to travel on the new Alderley Edge bypass road this week.

As part of their Common Entrance geography project, the pupils are looking at the effects of the bypass on the local community. They were given a very informative presentation by Geoff Charlton, Project Manager, on the construction of the bypass and then travelled along the new road in the minibus.

Our thanks go to Wendy Harkin, Public Liaison Officer, Geoff Charlton, Project Manager, and all personnel who made us so welcome.
