Work commences on tidying up the park

park

For some time I've been in conversation with Cheshire East Parks about tidying Alderley Edge park.

Today phase 1 swung into action; the car park, north side of the park, was attacked by a 'gang' from Cheshire East. Much overgrown greenery was hacked back and years of rubbish was removed.

The car park now looks tidier than it has for ages and people can walk on the pavement outside the car park without being attacked by 'triffids'.

Parking should be easier and as a bonus, a parking space or two has been gained. Hope you approve!

Now can we get the inside of the park similarly tidied? Watch this space (as they say).
