Highams on Wilmslow Road held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support yesterday, Friday 24th September.
Local residents and customers were invited to spare a few minutes of their time to join Highams for a coffee and cake and make a donation to the charity.
In addition to the money donated for the refreshments, Highams donated a £1 for every car washed yesterday and will donate £5 for every service or MOT they carry out between 24th September and 30th September.
Stephen Higham said "My daughter llana baked over 300 asorted cakes with her friend Beckie Morgan and we raised over £400. Thank you to all our supportive customers and neighbours."
