Celebrity chef Michel Roux JR is in Alderley Edge this morning being filmed for a new prime time TV series which will air in the autumn.

Michel's father Albert Roux founded Le Gavroche with his brother Michel in 1967, which became the first restaurant in the UK to be awarded one, two and then three Michelin Stars.

The well known chef is taking part in a series for national TV which will follow 8 trainees learning the art of high end restaurant service.

Filming is taking place in various locations around the country with one episode being filmed at London Road restaurant this weekend.

I have just been informed that the BBC will be back filming at London Road restaurant tomorrow for their new prime time TV series looking at teaching hospitality and front of house skills with celebrity chef Michel Roux JR.

Filming took place at the end of May but apparently they have a bit more filming to do and will probably also be taking some shots of Alderley Edge.

The series is due to air in the Autumn on BBC 2.
