A concert recently held at Alderley Edge Methodist Church raised £1000 for our local hospice.
The Minister of Alderley Edge Methodist Church, Rev. Nick Thompson presented the donation to East Cheshire Hospice towards their work in Children's Bereavement and Counselling support.
The Money was raised at the Arias & Arabesques concert held at the Methodist Church on Sunday, 19th November, with performances from Opus 5 and the Alderley Edge Academy of Dance.
Speaking the fundraising event, Stuart Kinsey said "AEMC and the performers wanted the financial benefit of the concert to go to a local charity with close links to the community and with an emphasis on support for children."
