Two organised firework events to light up Alderley Edge

Alderley Edge Community Primary School PTA are delighted to be hosting a fireworks display on Friday 3rd November for the whole of the Alderley Edge community.

Mrs Lindsey Walsh, Head Teacher, said, "All Alderley Edge residents and their families and friends are welcome to attend this child centred event. As the local village school we value the support of the Alderley Edge community and are looking forward to celebrating Bonfire Night together.

"Join us for a family friendly community event of fireworks, food, drink, stalls, and fun for all."

Gates will open at 5.15pm and the firework display will start at 6.45pm.

Hot food will be available along with beer, mulled wine and prosecco bar, tea & coffee and a sweets stall whilst there will also be fun and games for all the family.

The following day (Sunday 5th November), Alderley Edge Cricket Club will host their annual fireworks display. This popular event organised by the Cricket Club is now in its 18th year. The gates will open at 4.00pm and the main event is at 6.30pm.

John Berry, Manager of the Cricket Club, said "We look forward to hosting this annual village event that is always a remarkable display for all the family. Let's hope for some better weather than last year and I hope this is an event that the local community will enjoy."

Families can enjoy a children's funfair, various catering options and an outside bar serving mulled wine and beers.

Tickets can be purchased at a discounted price online or from the clubhouse prior to 5th November. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are available for £30, adult tickets are £10 and £6 for children. 

Tickets can also be purchased on the night at a cost of £12 for adults, £7 per child and £35 for a family ticket.
