Voting by post made easy

Cheshire East Council has made an easy-to-follow video guide showing how to fill in a postal vote for the General Election on May 6th.

The video was made entirely by members of the council’s Communications and Ranger teams – and was completed in a day at no extra cost to taxpayers.

Cheshire East Council Chief Executive Erika Wenzel, who is Acting Returning Officer in the local authority area, said: “We want to use all available media technologies to encourage people to vote in what is set to be one of the most keenly fought and important General Elections in decades. This is Cheshire East’s first General Election and we are committed to do all we can to help the electorate exercise their democratic right to vote.”

The short film is available to view on the Parliamentary Election Page (at the bottom of that page).
