Nominations for the Tatton seat at the General Election closed at 4pm today.
Shadow Chancellor George Osborne will defend the seat which he won in 2001, and retained in 2005.
He will be up against Sarah Flannery (Independent), Michael Gibson (The True English(Poetry) Party), Richard Jackson (Labour) and David Lomax (Liberal Democrat)
The Parliamentary General Election will take place on Thursday May 6th.
Members of the public are invited to attend a candidate debate at Wilmslow High School tomorrow, Wednesday 21st April. Two debates will be held, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, both of which will follow a TV Question Time structure.
