The car park at the National Trust site in Alderley Edge has now reopened as lockdown restrictions are eased

The public car park at The Edge is now open from 8am until 8pm.

A spokesperson for the National Trust said "We have limited spaces, so if the car park is full please come back another time."

The ticket machines will be switched back on later this week and the National Trust hopes to reopen the toilets soon after.

A spokesperson added "We ask all visitors to adhere to social distancing and keep any dogs on leads during this sensitive time of year to protect wildlife and farm animals."
