A motorcyclist sustained a head injury after colliding with a fence on Beech Road.
Police were informed of the collision, which involved no other vehicles, shortly after 8pm on Monday 18th May, and attended the scene to discover that the collision involved a blue Suzuki motorbike.
The rider was assessed by paramedics before being taken to Salford Royal Hospital in an ambulance.
The road was closed temporarily closed whilst emergency services worked at the scene and reopened at around 9.45pm.
