New PCSO on the beat in Alderley Edge

Alderley Edge has a new PCSO with Callum Edwards having taken over responsibility for the village today (Saturday, 4th April)

Callum has been training on the beat with his tutor since the start of March, and prior to that he was training at Winsford HQ.

He graduated from University last year with a BSc in Sports Science and worked in the security industry for a year prior to joining Cheshire Police, whilst also studying.

Callum told alderleyedge.com "Visibility and patrol will be my main focus for reassurance in these unprecedented times - if there are any questions for Police regarding quarantine procedure I ask people to contact via social media: Prestbury and Alderley Edge Police, on Twitter or Facebook.

PCSO Edwards will be covering both the Alderley Edge and Prestbury Ward.

Our previous PCSO Anna has moved on to do her Police Constable training.

John Andrew: it could have been that you were never there when she was there - in which case she could be thinking "You know I never saw that John Andrew bloke around much".

Good luck to him.
Why does he have to cover two parishs/areas?
Will he, as was the case with some earlier PCSOs, get taken away to help Wilmslow?

Jon Williams well said I believe it goes hand in hand with the car racing idiots *(or that is most probably caused by the Bolivian Marching Powder)

Could Callum please stand no nonsense with the likes of footballers who park their flash motors in bus stop bays and are happy to pay instant fines for so doing.
