The Lodge on the Edge is situated in the heart of Alderley Edge and is one of a small collection of properties including an Alpine ski chalet and a Scottish bolthole that have served as an ideal home away from home for travellers and holiday makers for over a decade.
The owners of all three Lodges, Morag and Andrew, have both enjoyed travelling for business and pleasure and make sure the The Lodge has all the features to make guests feel right at home. They have always prefered an alternative to corporate soulless chain hotels, and set up the Lodge in 2016 as a unique prospect for personal and professional travellers to Cheshire's best-known village.
Our concierge and housekeeper, Lisa is a "Cheshire expert" and is always on-hand to share some local knowledge. After ten years of housekeeping for celebrities and footballers, she has become an expert in making the right personal touches to deliver real luxury living away from home.
We have been delighted to receive guests from all over the world including Abu Dhabi, Australia, America & India to name a few. However, many of our guests have actually travelled much shorter distances as they have used the Lodge as a base whilst refurbishing their own properties or as an interim option whilst looking for a new home.
We are always willing to be flexible and try to accommodate all our guests' requirements ensuring their stay is comfortable and stress free as possible. Some guests have booked for 2 weeks and stayed much longer as house projects don't always go to plan, we have managed to work with them offering the flexibility they have needed.
