Plans have been submitted for the demolition of existing dwelling and cottage within the Alderley Edge Conservation Area and erection of three dwellings.

Huntsmere Limited have applied for the redevelopment of Cranbrook which was constructed in the late 20th Century and lies within a 0.7 acre plot located on the corner of Woodbrook Road and Underwood Road.

The proposed development seeks to replace the existing modified property and its cottage with three detached dwellings which will share a single entrance and communal courtyard space. Each property will have five bedrooms and three parking spaces.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council planning portal by searching for planning reference 19/3643M. The last date for submitting comments is 5th September and a decision is expected by 25th September.

Late 20th Century??!! So houses do not even make 20 years before the greedy developers return to plunder, destroy and lay waste plus inconveniencing the villagers again. This company in particular has caused 10 years of dangerous parking, flouting traffic rules etc etc in Alderley Edge and guess what ....they really do not care.
