This month's Wilmslow Artisan Market has been rescheduled for this Saturday (23rd March) and following last weekend's rain, hail and high winds this coming Saturday's forecast looks a lot brighter.
Denise Valente of The Market Co explained "High wind gust speeds and the use of gazebos just don't work well together and can be extremely dangerous if the gazebos take flight. The Market Co take the safety of our visitors, our artisans and our crew and very seriously and so although disappointing we had to take the decision to cancel.
"However we are thrilled to be able to announce that working with Wilmslow Town Council and Cheshire East Council we have managed to get an emergency license to reschedule Wilmslow Artisan Market to this coming Saturday 23rd March.
"All your favourite artisans will be joining us as well as a few new faces. The streetfood section will be brimming with the usual deliciousness and we are hopeful of some sunshine.
"We do hope you can join us."
