The National Trust has announced that Quarry Bank will reopen to visitors on Monday, 11th March.

A spokesperson for the National Trust said "Due to a high level of staff illness we made the decision to close Quarry Bank as a precaution and we have been working with partners including the local environmental health officer to investigate. We have carried out a specialist clean as an extra precautionary measure. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Quarry Bank and have appreciated everyone's patience while we've worked behind the scenes to get this special place open again."

Quarry Bank Mill has been closed since Saturday, 2nd March. Since then Public Health England North West's Cheshire and Merseyside health protection team and Cheshire East Council have been investigating an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting which was reported by a number of National Trust Employees.
