At around 9.25pm Firefighters were called to a report of a fire in the open at Wizard Country Park on Bradford Lane in Nether Alderley on Thursday, 21st June.
One fire engine attended the incident at 9.25pm. On arrival the crew discovered a grass fire measured approximately 20 square metres.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and then dampened the area down to make it safe. They were in attendance for around 35 minutes.
