Countdown to EdgeFest

Alderley Edge School for Girls is holding a one day festival of music and art on Saturday 30th June, from 12 noon until 5pm.

The music stage will have a variety of bands and singers offering music to appeal all tastes. There will be performances by The Shades, Tony Lambert, Fine Lines/David Boardman, Jay Johnson, Nick Wright, Carpet and Gideon Conn.

There will also be a crafts tent, tie-dye festival t-shirts to make
, a clay workshop
, slime stall, giant bouncy castle
, plate smash
, sweet stall, candy floss, ice creams
, a glow in the dark unicorn bracelets stall
, LED rings and batons
, tattoos and glitter face painting, a vegetable animal competition plus artist Gideon Conn will be drawing portraits.

Additionally there will be many free fun activities including a 
collaborative art installation, a printing footsteps walk, sports activities and much more.

The event is being organised by the AESG Parents and Friends Association and is open to all. Tickets are available on the gate, priced £5 for adults, £2.50 for children and students, under 2s free.

Ruth Rankin, one of the organisers from the Parents and Friends Association, said "It will is a fabulous line up of bands and activities for all the family."
