Revised plans for new Blackshaw Lane development

Revised plans have been submitted for a new residential development on Blackshaw Lane.

Alderley Edge Based developer Hunter & Belle has applied to demolish a two storey house and replace it with four semi-detached dwellings.

A planning application was submitted in 2017 for the development but was subsequently withdrawn following concerns over its size and the impact on nearby protected trees.

As a result, the dwellings have been reduced in size and scale in the revised plans, as well as re-positioned on the site.

The semi- detached houses will appear as though they are two storey from the front and the pairs will be staggered to break down the perceived mass of the development from Blackshaw Lane.

Additionally the eastern pair of semi-detached houses has been reduced in size and new gated entrances for vehicles and pedestrians will take residents and visitors directly to the new dwellings.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 17/6288M. The last date for submitting comments is 5th January 2018 and a decision is expected by 9th February 2018.
