As many local residents will have noticed the carousel located at The Parade has been removed over the weekend.
Councillors Craig Browne, Myles Garbett and Geoff Hall along with Fenton Simpson (Chairman of Alderley Edge Allotments and Gardens Society) removed the old notice board which has now been re-located to Chorley Lane allotments where it is going to be up-cycled and become the Allotment Society's new notice board.
Councillor Craig Browne confirmed that the Alderley Edge Parish Council's new three panel noticeboard has been ordered at a cost of £1700 plus vat, which includes installation - on the wall outside Waitrose - and lettering.
