I am very happy that action is now being taken in regards to this vandalism, although I do strongly feel that temporary surveillance cameras are a necessary addition also. After experiencing this criminal damage twice myself I feel police presence will only defer the offender from acting again (which obviously is what everybody wants) but will not determine who is guilty of the acts. At this point I would feel an awful lot happier if the vandal is found and fairly prosecuted for the thousands of pounds of damage he or she has caused... I no longer feel safe walking down Ryley’s Lane in the dark after work
