A new parent, baby and toddler group met for the first time on Tuesday, 10th October.
Organised by St Philip and St James Church, 'Tuesday Tots' plan to meet every Tuesday between 10am to 12 noon in the parish rooms behind the church - except during Alderley Edge Primary School's holidays.
Rev'd Robin Pye said "We are very lucky to have had a lot of lovely toys donated to the group and we also have talented volunteers who have come forward to lead craft activities, singing and storytelling."
The group will meet again on Tuesday 17th October. They will then break for half-term before starting up again on 31st October and continue until Christmas. The sessions are currently free of charge but there will be a small fee to pay for sessions after Christmas.
Robin explained "The idea behind the sessions is to give the parents of babies and toddlers another place where they can meet each other and have a chat while knowing that their children are having a good time in a good quality play environment."
