This week Alderley Edge based Physiofit celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special evening held at FITISM gym in Wilmslow.
Angela Jackson (Director) first established the clinic in 1992 and has watched it grow from working in her own home to now having two clinics with 12 experienced physiotherapists, a sports rehabilitation therapist, a podiatrist and 2 holistic therapists.
This year their second clinic opened within the FITISM gym in the grounds of Wilmslow Rugby Club giving them space to rehabilitate patients after injury in a dynamic environment and get them back to full fitness but also to work on their main goal of prevention.
During this time, they have treated both private and NHS patients from the local community and now offer classes for people in later life, falls prevention classes and junior and adult core classes.

Angela Jackson said "The evening gave us the opportunity to thank some of the key people who have supported us over the last 25 years and helped Physiofit grow into the practice it is today. Loyalty has been a key factor along the way. I am blessed with an amazing team, both on reception and in the treatment rooms, many of whom have been with us for many years and who constantly strive to stay at the top of their profession.

None of our founding values have changed, we were established to provide excellence in physiotherapy care where each patient is treated as a unique individual and where we continually exceed your expectations. We ask our patients to be the best they can be and we aspire to match their determination in our own standards."
Angela added "As our loyal client base has aged, we have responded to their needs and now have a dynamic team of physios based in the community seeing patients who are less mobile in their own homes. I really can't believe how quickly 25 years have gone and I look forward to our continued success over the next 25 years, although I may have passed the mantle to our younger team members by then!"
