The annual Time Out Group Party will see friends and families coming together to celebrate the charity's work and raise money to continue helping members get involved with social and leisure activities in their local community.

This year, the members decided that the party should take the theme of a 60s Summer Holiday. The event will take place at Alderley Edge Festival Hall on Saturday 5th August and will be a fun evening of 60s food and dancing.

The popular Oakmere Singers will open the event and music will be provided during the evening by The Daydreamers band. There will also be a fun tombola and raffle.

Time Out Group Manager, Salli Ward, said "It has been a very exciting year for Time Out Group so far with the opening of the Together Drop in centre in Handforth whilst continuing with Time Out Group's evening activities around Wilmslow and Handforth. This event will help the small charity to keep going and to increase its membership to support even more adults with learning disabilities.

"The party will also be enormous fun for friends, parents, families and neighbours of Time Out Group members - but also other residents of Cheshire; it's an opportunity for a great night out for anybody who likes good music, good food and good company."

The Together drop-in centre coordinator Jo says "Since joining Time Out Group in January and opening the Drop in center it has been wonderful to see how the center has established itself and how members have made it their own. Part of the reason behind the 'holiday' theme is to celebrate the members' holiday to cruise around the Channel Islands in September."

Tickets are priced £20 per adult (children go free), which includes dinner. They are limited so contact Time Out Group via email. Alternatively, email Marina or contact her on 07921188875.

Time Out Group have supported adults with learning difficulties for over 10 years in Alderley Edge, Handforth and Wilmslow.
